PvZ and Peggle on Android Market! Finally! And Bejeweled on Google Chrome!

Hey kids, exciting news today!

First, we are happy to let all you passionate Android users from around the world know that later this week you will be able to get both Plants vs. Zombies and Peggle on the official Android Market. They’ve both been available on other compatible Android marketplaces, but this is their first appearance on the official Android Market! And we agree with you: It’s about time already! Sheesh! The games aren’t there quite yet, but will be later this week. We promise! We’re not trolling or rickrolling you!

In other happy news, PopCap is announcing the immediate availability of Bejeweled for the Google Chrome Web Store. This version includes both Classic and Speed modes and can be downloaded and played for free. Yay! We love free! This version has been customized specifically for HTML5, with advanced 3-D accelerated graphics and effects. And if you don’t know what HTML5 or any of that means, we’ll sum it up for you: It looks prettier.

Of course, you’ll need to be using the (also free) Google Chrome Web browser for this version. So if you’re using Internet Explorer, Firefox, or some other Web browser, you need to get Google Chrome first. Then, from within Google Chrome, you can go to their Web Store and download the game. You should see Bejeweled featured on the Chrome Web Store home page. If you don’t see it, you can go directly to the Bejeweled page here.

IMPORTANT NOTE 1:
If you aren’t already using Google Chrome as you are reading this blog post, those links above may not work! So cut-and-paste the following links into the Google Chrome web browser, once you get it, to find Bejeweled in the Web Store:

Google Chrome Web Store: https://chrome.google.com/webstore.
Bejeweled page: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/adpkifcfcacgmnggcbpbjbkdijciiigm. (Yeah, we don’t know what’s up with that either!)

IMPORTANT NOTE 2: If you do a general search for Bejeweled on the Google Chrome Web Store, be careful! That store also contains a bunch of lousy, inferior Bejeweled clones and ripoffs not made by PopCap. Do not download these, unless you like crappy games. Get the official version, the one that says “PopCap” on it. That’s us. Accept no substitutes!
